Baltimore, Md. - Thank you for picking me for the Children's Scholarship [Fund]. My mom's prayers were truly answered and mine too. I'll pray for all of you. Thank you, Ms. Carol [Stevens]. It was nice talking to you. Thank you for all your hard work. Thank you for calling me and giving me the great news about the scholarship. I attend Sacred Heart of Mary School. I'm now in the 5th grade.

Baltimore, Md. - When I first received the letter from the Children's Scholarship Fund after the lottery drawing, I was somewhat disappointed, because the letter informed me that I was not one of the recipients of a CSF [award]. Although saddened, I never gave up hope. Then a few weeks later, another letter arrived congratulating me. Remarkably, one of the winning parents had chosen not to accept the scholarship, so it was offered to me. I was so overwhelmed, I had to read the letter again. Putting a child through private or parochial school can be a financial strain. I want to thank you for your financial support in helping to lighten my own financial commitment. Hats off to all of you!
